May is a Washington D.C. metropolitan based travel, wellness, fashion and lifestyle writer and blogger. Hailing from Atlanta, GA she made a home in the metro D.C. area after graduating from the illustrious Howard University with a communications degree in advertising, minoring in fashion merchandising. A year after graduating, she signed-on to serve her country, joining the Army National Guard as an air traffic controller. One deployment and six years of service later, she honorably discharged from the Army to pursue her true passion of communications.
A proud Army Veteran, she now serves in the capacity of communications consultant for the Army, a marketing coach to independent entrepreneurs, and is actively developing her lifestyle brand via her blog Just Go May. Through her blog, she hopes to evoke a spirit of exploration and zest for life by sharing her experiences, travels, and knowledge.
May has built a life of love, happiness and prosperity in Maryland with her tribe and her loving pal Zara, her pointer/pit dog.
